Maia and the Squires is an alternative rock band from berlin, formed in 2024 and fronted by singer-songwriter Maia Luker, With Bui Huu Phan Anh on guitar, Ulysse Zimmer on bass, and Merlin Ricco Laudien on drums.

the band believes in building a community by creating authentic, sincere and powerful songs that make people feel accepted and seen.  Their sound is a balance between dreamy and abrasive, with a mix of gritty guitar riffs and soft atmospheric textures, inspired by 90s alternative, indie rock, shoegaze, and grunge.

Currently, they are focused on recording new music, while planning a series of live performances throughout the year.
